Cipher Empire.

Probably my favorite concept for a logo I’ve ever done. It started out with a small group of local rappers that attempted to band together and start a production company but unfortunately led nowhere.

Despite being from a mostly sub-urban area they all had dreams of living “the good life” in the big city. Fast cars, beautiful partners, and the typical thing you’ll catch your local up-and-coming artist day dreaming about.

For the background city the concept was simple, where they want to be. For the city in the water that was to symbolize that getting to where they wanted to be was just a reflection of their hard work and being, like water the lyrics flow. Overlaying the city-scape was an audio track from one of the members newly released songs to add a little flare but keep on brand with the production studio theme. Finally you have the font with the texture to imitate the lights on a billboard sign, just a little flare.
