This started as a personal project once I saw the two coaches upfront, Paul and Chad, in a 50/50 position. I looked up all the Renaissance Era paintings I could think of and as I was sending update of the project to some of the other members of the gym more and more photos flooded in. The School of Athens painting was something I could perfectly edit them into. What was important for me was to display all aspects of the gym; yoga, MMA, Muay Thai, and of course Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu both Gi and NoGi.
Weeks of work and sorting through images passed and when the final product was done they wanted a banner printed. It is now proudly displayed at the Capital MMA & Elite Fitness Lorton location. Thus the School of Lorton was made.
